    One factor that makes Ho Chi Minh City exceptional is the contrast between the old and the new. This is the country’s business centre, and there are many areas under development, but there are also many places and buildings from earlier eras that are well preserved and well worth visiting to see the French colonial influences as well as ancient Buddhist sites.

    Ho Chi Minh city also  is where our great Uncle Ho had been left to be found the way  to help the country out of French colonial invasion (1911). Attached to this event,Nha Rong-Dragon House Wharf and Ho Chi Minh Museum  is a historical relic which attracted a lots of domestic as well as abroad tourists.

    With flights routes up to 13 domestic destinations, Air Mekong could be transfer passengers from Hanoi, Vinh, Pleiku, Quy Nhon, Buon Ma Thuot, Con Dao, Phu Quoc to Ho Chi Minh city with safely landing at international Tan Son Nhat Airport.
    Tan Son Nhat Airport is 8 kilometers away from Ho Chi Minh city center,to the north of Tan Binh district,is an important traffic hub of the South. From the airport,you could be transferred to downtown by taxi, Mini Bus 12 seats,bus,or motorbike taxi( xe om).

    Weather&Climate

    Located in the tropical equatorial monsoon, Ho Chi Minh City has the same high temperature throughout the year and different dry& rainy seasons markedly. Rainy season begins from May to November then dry season is from December to next year April. The downtown districts and northern districts have precipitation higher than the rest districts. Ho Chi Minh City is influenced by two monsoon wind direction is West - South West and North - East.

    Sai Gon’s cuisines, first is the combination of uniquely tasty Southern foods. These are dishes with flavors of the country very attractive river.
    Nowadays, in the restaurants &hotels, people would prefer  to order  rustic dishes such as grasshoppers, cicadas fried, grilled mullet , braised tilapia, goby with pepper coconut, sour snakehead fish, grilled chicken with salt and chili, gourds steamed eel, fried frog rolls, shrimp Bac Lieu, hamsters roti, grilled snake soups, pickled alive, pickled stock,mushroom  Phu Quoc, My Tho noodle.

    Southern foods are always sweet taste of sugar, greasy taste of coconut. Hot pots, especial Mam-Sauce hotpot is always full of local vegetables such as dock, an oscar, crab, cotton than chopsticks, cork cotton.
    The Grill also comes in many charcoal grill, grill trui, grilled all, baked rollers, baked clay.
     Sai Gon is also a place where is a convergence of many delicious dishes from different regions. Many uniquely dishes of Hanoi capital and the northern provinces has also become a part of Sai Gon’s cuisines such as: Pho, fried fish, noodles, spring rolls, rice rolls, vermicelli, West Lake shrimp cake, rice with northern style
    The central foods is also very familiar in Sai Gon,such as  Hue beef vermicelli &spring rolls,Hoi An noodles. Saigon is a place to turn the culinary culture of China, India, France, America, Italy, Russia, Japan, Australia and other countries.
    Foreign tourists can find a favorite dish of his own nation in the majority of hotels and restaurants in cities such as Peking duck, curry goat, bacon French, German sausage, hamburger U.S., Russian-style barbecue, sushi and Japanese queer taste of barbecue with all kinds of Czechoslovakia's most famous beer

    The city’s landscapes is quite variety. With the system included 11 museums, mostly related to history Ho Chi Minh City is leading of numbers of museums in Viet Nam .The City largest & oldest is Vietnam History Museum with 30,000 artifacts. As almost visitors to The War Remnants Museum are foreigners, then Ho Chi Minh museum which is the most attracted domestic visitors. Ho Chi Minh City is also an urban religious diversity. On the territory of the city,nowadays,there are more than 1,000 pagodas, temples which has been built over many periods of time. Then churches have been built in the 19th century with Roman, Gothic’s styles. The city’s largest and most famous church is Saigon Notre Dame Basilica in district1, built in   1880. The colonial period has been left to the city many important architectural works such as. Headquarters City People's Committee, the Opera House, Central Post Office, Nha Rong Wharf ... Presidential Palace and the General Science Library was built under the Republic of Vietnam

    Modern architect has been marked the city by buildings, hotels, trade centers such as Diamond Plaza, Saigon Trade Centre... The city’s outskirt such as Cu Chi’s tunnel, Can Gio Mangroves, Thu Duc stork garden which is important landscapes.

    Ho Chi Minh City is also a center of shopping &entertainment. Besides,music bars,bars,discotheques,theaters,the city has quite many entertainment centers such as Dam Sen-Lotus Lake & Suoi Tien-Fairy StreamTheme Park, Botanic Gardens- Thao Cam Vien.Shopping centers such as Ben Thanh  Market, Diamond Plaza... system of restaurants, food stall  which is also a strong point of the city.
