Mui Doi – Hon Dau, located in Hon Gom Peninsula, Van Thanh Commune, Van Ninh District, Khanh Hoa Province, is the East Pole of Vietnam’s continent. The North Pole is in Lung Cu Commune, Dong Van, Ha Giang, the South Pole is in Rach Tau Cape, Ngoc Hien District, Ca Mau and the West Pole is in A Pa Chai – Ta Mieu, Sin Thau Commune, Muong Nhe, Dien Bien.
People call it Mui Doi (double capes) because this place has two rocky promontories jutting out into the sea. Not far from it is a small island named Hon Dau.
Mui Doi – Hon Dau is about 100km away from Nha Trang City. Tourists can choose either two ways to discover the beauty of this landscape, by land or by sea.
In 2005, Mui Doi – Hon Dau was recognized as a national scenic relic. With a beautiful natural landscape formed by numerous spectacular pieces of rocks, Mui Doi – Hon Dau promises to be an interesting destination. Tourists can go for picnic or go camping overnight to catch the first sun rays in the continent of Vietnam.
